About Kindoo Family Flexible Care
We are a small, family run childcare centre on Commercial Road in Ferntree Gully, built around a simple belief: care should fit your family, not the other way around.
A local centre where care is personal
Kindoo started with a frustration a lot of parents share. Childcare was rigid and expensive, and it charged for hours families never used. We built Kindoo to be the opposite: a warm, flexible centre where you pay for the sessions you book and your child is known as an individual.
Today we care for children from 6 months to 6 years across long day care, funded kindergarten and school holiday programs. We are open 7am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year, from our centre at 8 Commercial Road, Ferntree Gully VIC 3156.
The sessional model is the heart of it. Whether your family needs a 7.5 hour day, a full 11.5 hour day, or a casual day here and there, you are only ever paying for the care you actually use.

Holistic learning through play
Children at Kindoo learn through play, supported by intentional teaching. Alongside plenty of free play and outdoor time, the week includes yoga, music, sports, phonetics and emotional regulation, so children grow socially and emotionally as well as academically.

The Kindoo Guarantee
If you are not satisfied that your child is safe, learning, engaged and having fun at Kindoo within 90 days, we will work with you until you are happy. And if we cannot, we will waive our usual four week cancellation period. That is how confident we are in the care here.

Is Kindoo an approved childcare provider?
Yes. Kindoo has been an approved provider since July 2018 and is assessed under the National Quality Framework, so families can claim the Child Care Subsidy for their sessions.
How big is the centre?
Kindoo is licensed for 55 places. We keep it small on purpose so children stay with familiar educators and settle in quickly.
What is the Kindoo Guarantee?
If you are not satisfied that your child is safe, learning, engaged and having fun at Kindoo within 90 days, we will work with you to fix it. If we cannot, we waive our usual four week cancellation period.
